I like to try out new tools and started my heuristics using a really nice Chrome plugin called heur.io.
Alas, since the client provided us with an Invision account, I placed the information there; however, tools in this industry are always changing, and I think opportunities to try them out shouldn't be wasted.
I found a total of 27 usability issues
What became apparent is that Heuristics was only scratching the surface of the issues.
Even if all the Heuristics issues were resolved, there would be issues in the mechanics of the experience.
A deeper dive into the "intent" of the elements of the page, the vision that the website was a part of, became my next focus point.
