One of the first things I asked the project stakeholders was obviously "Who is your user?", but I also asked "Who will make changes to the website for those users?"
This led me to understand that Marketing had multiple goals it wanted to achieve at different points in time as did Engineering, this website would also be of Interest to other stakeholder's in the company.
Interviewing the stakeholders yielded the insights I needed to understand that this website would behave differently depending on:
The current design was not solving those problems, so I now had a good starting point to define the underlying problems.
